This is the best place to go for donuts. Everything is so delicious and perfectly made in my opinion. You’d think they’d charge a lot for the best donuts but it’s so affordable I end up buying more. On top of that the girl that checks me out at the register is always very friendly.

We live New City and their products! Each time it has been fantastic. Fresh baked goods and really good prices. The sweet potato empanadas and brownies are my favorite. The fresh hot flour tortillas are to die for!

New City Bakery is a simple, old-fashioned bakery with quick service. Everything we bought was delicious and fresh. On-site dining is not an option. It's to-go only. But that's not important. They have the best conchas I've ever had! Their cookies and empanadas are fantastic! The marranitos are amazing!

I was trying to find a place for lunch when I stumbled across this place. It was very well stocked and full of sweet desserts. I was very impressed with the selection as it was way better than the bakery I normally frequent in Kyle. The young kind working the country was helpful and polite. I got a bunch of treats for myself and my kids. I was impressed how reasonable it was. For the price I paid, I maybe would have gotten 1 or 2 things at other bakeries. If you are looking for a "Mom and Pop" bakery with sweet treats. This is the place to go. It is definitely on my list of places to stop when I am in New Braunfels.

Excellent Mexican pan dulce!! I’ve eaten most, if not all, they offer and everything is excellent. Walking through the doors is like walking into the Mexican bakeries of my youth. The staff is always helpful and very friendly. Love this place!!

This place is truly a locals gem. The staff is very nice. They mostly speaks Spanish. Thats how you know the stuff is really good and authentic. For just a few dollars you can get your self a few treats to satisfy your sweet tooth. The cost stays low as you get your treats in a brown bag. Bring your own napkins because you will get crumbs all over your car. You will eat some before you get home trust me. Would recommend. Very nice folks. Much love to their work.

The bakery items are great especially the brownies. My daughter and I love brownies and these are some of the best we have tried. Even my wife who doesn’t eat brownies likes these. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
